Individual life experiences are immensely complex; shaped by idiosyncratic perspectives, cultures, ideas and beliefs. In our attempts to understand and respect one another, we must first embrace the fact that each of us has a unique individual history rich with complexity and wrought with personal tragedy.
It is the diversity of these human experiences that I seek to explore, examine, empathize with and gain inspiration from in my life and through my work.
Originally from Germany, I was raised in Orlando, Florida and have lived in London, England; Brooklyn, NY and Woodstock, NY until recently relocating to North Carolina.
I earned a degree in photography at Daytona State College and art history at the City University of New York. In addition to continuing my personal artistic practice, I have worked for a number of commercial photographers and fine artsits for clients including those listed below:
