About the Work

My work has grown from a continual search for connection. I am interested in the power of relationships and people’s need for intimacy, communion, and kinship.

Bio

Originally from Germany, I was raised in Orlando, Florida and have lived in London, England, Brooklyn, NY and Woodstock, NY. I currently reside in Western North Carolina.

I earned an Associate’s Degree in Photographic Technology at Daytona State College, a Bachelor’s in Modern Art History at CUNY BA NYC, and an MFA in Photography at Savannah College of Art and Design.

I currently teach in the photography department at Marion Technical Community College in Marion, NC.

In addition to continuing my personal artistic practice and teaching photography and related media, I have worked in commercial and fine art photography since the early 2000’s shooting, studio managing and first assisting for a number of commercial photographers and fine artists with clients including those listed below:
